ok. it was more like the sorta small one. last nite we had our first SoCal earthquake. are we were watching the hills, suddenly the building shook really hard and it sounded like a fire engine hit it.
N and i looked at each other. "was that an earthquake?" i asked...he said "i think the garbage chute just cleared" (it was all clogged up that afternoon).
neither of us wanted to get dressed to check out the chute to confirm if that was the cause. INSTEAD we jumped online and googled SC earthquakes. here are the results:

i know it was a 3.1, BUT when you're only about 5 miles from the epicenter, it sure feels like more. the only causality was mayor quimby fell off the shelf. i called J&S and she was loving it. the cats were of NO help. no early warning or anything from them.
