J & S treated N & I to dinner last nite. J had been to this place before but the rest of us were newbies.
we got there around 7pm and signed up on the wait list. to kill some time we went next door to the sushi and sake bar for a quick appetizer since we were hungry. we sat down and after about 10 minutes someone took the drink order. after 10 more minutes the drinks came. 10 minutes later a server came out and asked if we were ready to order. S said yes and she said to hold on until she went and got a pen!! she should have asked "should i get a pen to take your order?" so after that drama (keep in mind there were only 3 tables including us at this time), the hostess from La Creperie came over to let us know our table was ready. off J and I went and left N & S to settle up.
we started with a bread and cheese plate. my only complaint was it was so small and there were no grapes on it (kinda weird). but the cheese and bread were good. we then all ordered a savory crepe. i went with a breakfast chorizo crepe against my better judgement. i KNEW i shouldn't have gotten that and just stuck with desserts but my eyes were bigger then my stomach so i filled right up. the saddest part was we were all so full we could only manage to split 1 dessert crepe. we're such a disappointment. haha
