swine flu... smine flu...

can people go even craizer? i thought when the avian (bird) flu hit asia things went crazy but i don't remember there being movie premiere cancellations. hmmm

i watch good day la in the mornings before work. steve edwards is a rock of common sense. he points out every day that a certain number of people in the US die from the flu every year. this "swine" flu is just a different strain of flu that will keep developing due to the overuse of antibiotics our country has been having a heyday giving out to people.

i'm not worried. i wash my hands a lot. fortunately i'm in a small office and the people here aren't traveling to mexico so hopefully we're safe. ideally hiding inside my apartment would be ideal but not economically feasible at this time.

BTW--you DON'T get this flu from eating pork. i can't tell you how many times i've heard that lately.

i get to bsit B tonite. i can't wait. it's been about a week and she's growing so much. i can't wait until she starts talking.
