Back to Work...

it was a GREAT weekend!

thursday we went down to SD for the concert. our timing at the venue was amazing. we got there right when the first band was done. they set up for the next band and N said it would be CKY. i was hopeful but my luck isn't that good. the lights go out and suddenly the knight rider theme comes on. i literally almost jumped out of my skin. that's my ring tone on my cell! i'm a geek i know. then there they were...CKY!! and it was great. the only crappy part was they only played for an hour since they weren't the headliner :( i can't wait to see them again!! Chad and Deron do a great job onstage and engaging the audience.

while we were killing time before the show (note to self ALWAYS bring the portable DVD player!!) we hung out at Ocean Beach. it had some great waves but the beach itself wasn't as clean as the ones in HB. we also noticed a lot more homeless people standing around. in HB usually they're on bikes with tons of recycling and seem to be doing stuff. the drivers down there are pretty bad too. i know cali is know for bad drivers but these people were BAD. fortunately we weren't in any hurry so it was tolerable. barely.

friday i got an email from paypal that they are refunding my money!! so far i've gotten part of it back into my account so hopefully i'll be done with that!

friday nite i also deleted something on our computer (with N's help) so now we have no audio driver installed and since we got the computer from goodwill it had a bootleg windows copy on it so now we have video and no sound..this is not good. too bad Chuck doesn't make house calls LOL.

saturday was spent trying to fix the computer without spending any money.

sunday we went to dim sum at China Garden in Irvine. we have figured out the timing now so we don't have to stand outside for an hour to get in. it took a while for service yesterday but once the carts started rolling around we were hooked up! i had about 6 shrimp balls in rice noodles and 3 pork humbows. usually they have more shrimp stuff but this time there wasn't as much but it was still good! then came a day of football and watching the seahawks shut themselves down again.

**my bro is now in Amsterdam for about a week then they plan to head back to the states!***
